Der lang ersehnte Impfstoff Novavax ist da, der auch sinnigerweise den gleichen Namen trägt. Neue Daten untermauern: Das Vakzin der Firma Novavax verhindert sehr effektiv schwere Verläufe von Covid-19. Nach Angaben des Herstellers liegen der EMA alle Daten zur Zulassung vor.

Viele Menschen haben sich bislang nicht impfen lassen, weil sie den vier verfügbaren Vakzinen misstrauen. Einige Gründe: Die mRNA-Impfstoffe der Firmen Biontech und Moderna enthalten Erbgut-Abschriften. Die Vektor-Impfstoffe der Firmen AstraZeneca und Johnson & Johnson wiederum wirken etwas schlechter als die anderen beiden und waren öfter wegen seltener Nebenwirkungen in den Schlagzeilen. Auch die Zusammensetzung von Vektor-Impfstoffen schreckt manche ab: Sie bestehen aus der Hülle von harmlosen Viren und Erbgut-Stücken von Sars-Cov2-Viren. Der Impfstoff-Kandidat der Firma Novavax ist ein Hoffnungsträger, den zahlreiche Skeptiker seit vielen Monaten erwarten. Die Substanz mit dem Kürzel NVX-CoV2373 ist ein Totimpfstoff. Er enthält Bestandteile des sogenannten-Spike-Proteins, einem Eiweiß auf der Oberfläche von Sars-Cov2-Viren. Das körpereigene Abwehrsystem reagiert auf die Eiweiß-Schnipsel und baut so einen Immunschutz gegen Covid-19-Erkrankungen auf. Auch viele Grippe-Impfstoffe funktionieren nach diesem Prinzip – mit dem Unterschied, dass bei ihnen Eiweiß-Schnipsel von Influenzaviren die Immunreaktion hervorrufen.

Studie zeigt: Kein Geimpfter erkrankte schwer
Der Novavax-Impfstoff wird in zwei Dosen gespritzt und ist sehr wirksam. Das Untermauern am 10. Oktober 2021 vor veröffentlichte Ergebnisse. Danach reduziert das Impfen das Risiko für symptomlose Infektionen oder leichte Erkrankungen um mindestens 83 Prozent. Das Risiko für eine mittelschwere bis schwere Erkrankung sinkt dadurch sogar um mindestens 87 Prozent. In der Studie erkrankte keine einzige Person schwer, nachdem sie mit NVX-CoV2373 geimpft war. Allerdings lässt sich daraus nicht ableiten, dass das Vakzin gravierende Verläufe zu 100 Prozent verhindert – so wie andere es berichten. Die statistische Analyse der Ergebnisse lässt diesen Schluss nicht zu.
Die Studie erfolgte an fast 30.000 Erwachsenen in den USA und in Mexiko. Generell vertrugen die Versuchsteilnehmer die Impfung gut. Zu den Nebenwirkungen zählen zeitweilige Schmerzen an der Einstichstelle sowie Müdigkeit, Kopf- und Muskelschmerzen. Diese Reaktionen gab es häufiger bei denjenigen, die den Impfstoff erhielten, als bei der Kontrollgruppe, denen ein Scheinpräparat gespritzt wurde. Die unerwünschten Reaktionen traten nach der zweiten Impfdosis öfter auf als nach der ersten.
Bewährtes Prinzip, neuartige Impfzutaten
Der Totimpfstoff von Novavax setzt auf ein etabliertes Impf-Prinzip. Es enthält jedoch zusätzlich einen neuartigen Wirkverstärker. Dieser basiert auf einem Saponin-Extrakt, das aus dem in Chile heimischen Seifenrindenbaum gewonnen wird. Zum Vergleich: Die bislang zugelassenen Covid-19-Impfstoffe enthalten keinen Wirkverstärker, einem sogenannten Adjuvans.
Novavax plant, noch dieses Jahr in den USA einen Zulassungsantrag für seinen Impfstoff zu stellen. So ist der Stand vom 15. Oktober 2021. Anfang November wurde der Impfstoff in Indonesien unter dem Namen Covovax zugelassen. Außerdem beantragte das Unternehmen die vorläufige Zulassung bei der Arzneimittelbehörde in Neuseeland. Auch in Australien, Großbritannien und Kanada liegen Zulassungsanträge vor. In der EU läuft bereits seit Februar 2021 ein beschleunigtes Prüfverfahren bei der Europäischen Arzneimittelagentur (EMA). Es erfolgt in einem rollierenden Prozess. Soll heißen: Die Firma reicht ihre Ergebnisse häppchenweise ein, sobald sie vorliegen. Das soll nun der Fall sein: Der Hersteller hat für seinen Corona-Impfstoff alle für die Zulassung erforderlichen Dokumente bei der Europäischen Arzneimittel-Agentur (EMA) eingereicht. Der Impfstoff könnte also auch bald in der EU zugelassen werden.
Bereits im August 2021 hat die EU-Kommission mit Novavax vereinbart, 200 Millionen Dosen Impfstoff zu kaufen.

Hi Lawrence, I understand your excitement, and agree with you as well. So far, I have not gotten vaccinated, for the reasons you gave, and which are true in the grand scheme of the endgame.
Whether I will get vaccinated with the new vaccine, I will decide when the first few months have passed, and new evidence is available.
Another reason for me is the hefty fines, they would totally ruin my life.
Do you accept the threatened fines of 5,000 to 10,000 €? Probably not.
Now be patient dear Lawrence, please do not forget that my blog is read by the authorities, especially the administration in Brussels reads along, and they are guests on my blog far too often. When the EU sign appears on my blog, then I always know, now is red alert.
Germany is being monitored for all it’s worth.

Linda thank you for advising me of these things! I’m here in America where I’m in far different circumstances for the time being but my own belief and what i will accept or not is all based on what God gave us to be guided by in any given situation! Because I have ZERO faith in men knowing from experience that most of the time they are not to be trusted; I have my mind made up what has happened and will remain so moving forward!
But the big point to what you have said here in this comment is, do we silence our honest opinions and truth or do we compromise our integrity to “go along to get along,” because that is what got us where we are; far too many people were and still are willing to swallow the LIE Hook, Line and Sinker! This will not end well no matter what man-made path is followed, and that to me is a foregone conclusion! So I can only watch what I say to whom and when it is an appropriate time to speak out; then I will. But I am a strong willed person about Freedom of Speech and Freedom to live as God intended, I will be no slave to any system, and not any men!
I do want to add that your information as well as approach to this entire situation is very commendable and finely done so I totally respect you and the body of work here! My difficulty in any clashing is primarily my agitation by all of the lies and nefarious persons at work trying to destroy not help humanity and thus my excitement can be strong at times!
I will measure my responses carefully in these cases!

No, no very kind of you Linda to say so! But, I feel guilty very easy when I hurt anyone who is not deserving of any criticism or my harsh offense of any kind, which can be words or actions, and though not meant to be mean, but nonetheless can come across that way; because I speak my mind and say what I mean and mean what I say! No sugar coating is good, but I do see how I can affect a person that isn’t aware of me or not clearly seeing my “true intentions!” I want to behave far from evil, but a bit of a but here; I’m emotional and very sensitive to bad things; probably because of what people did to me, then of course we can say the Devil make them do it! Still I was on the receiving end of some serious poo! Still inside I’m still me that boy long ago; like a Don Quixote dreaming of a better world! I can take it, I have no other choice!

Wow man and I mean that is cool what you said there for a few reasons, and I really dig it, like out of sight as the old hippies used to say; and the movie “Easy Rider” was a damn good flick, depicting the tough social changes taking place in America at the time! Had some really good actors in it doing a fine job too! Jack Nicholson was a standout character in that film which ignited his career into many even better roles! Don’t get me talking about films I will be writing pages here! LOL!

My faith has also reached zero. Some faces from politics, the media, and so-called experts, trigger real anger in me. But I also know, that I have to control my anger. I always try to stay friendly; the others are already unfriendly enough. That’s the difference, between me and the others.

You are absolutely right. We are at this point now, because too many (67%) went along, and are still going along. We have to be very careful about our own lives, starting yesterday. Every word we say, can cost our existence. This is happening in Germany right now. If you are localized as an enemy of the state, you can no longer find a job, an apartment; you are systematically isolated and segregated. This is a terrible development.
Remember, we live in surveillance states. Edward Snowden.
Who wants to be a slave of a system, I don’t want to be either, but I fear that we have already become one.

“Have to control my anger.” This is a necessity in a volatile situation which the world is in the likes of which has never happened this way before; more of a giant bomb waiting to be ignited bringing chaos and total ruin!

The other side has none.” Yes and I as a kid all the way on to middle age was always the kind considerate, compassionate friendly guy, like a big brother to many people, but then the people in this world turned on me many times and ripped into my heart, so I’m strong enough to take it and resilient enough by God’s grace to spring back and carry on; but with one caveat, I do tend to demand more respect from people than in my past if they wish to be close to me now! I don’t like wasting time with arrogance or backstabbing game players or head trips, they are way too much burden to deal with now in this out of control madhouse! I say to people give me respect and I’ll always give you that and a whole lot more good back; because I’m generous to a fault; the proverbial big hearted person!
I think ladies are more apt to handle this better you sound like my mother always saying treat everyone with kindness and pray for all of them! She and you are right and I’m just a bit pissed off that people can be so mean or even rotten and don’t mind giving a decent person trouble or some lumps; maybe even destroying a person!
That is so sad and horrible what the systems of all societies are doing to the masses and they don’t care one bit!
Yes I’m a dreamer wishing we can rise above all this horror and pandemonium that is coming. But it’s far too late to change the course that this beast is going and we are along for the damned ride anyway! The Orwellian 1984 dystopian world is here getting more control as it forges ahead!
